Flashlight Widget ("the App") is a simple home screen widget that switches your device's camera flash on and off with a single tap. Your privacy is important to us, and we want to be transparent about how the App works.
The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. It does not connect to the internet, and it does not send any information to external servers.
The App only switches your device's camera flash unit on and off, using Android's built-in torch control. It does not open the camera, and it cannot take photos or record video or audio. No camera permission is requested, because turning the flash on does not require one.
The App does not use any third-party services, analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking technologies.
The only data stored locally on your device is your widget appearance preferences (colour, icon style and size, chosen in the settings screen) and whether the light was last left on. This is stored using Android's SharedPreferences and never leaves your device.
The App does not collect any data from anyone, including children. It is safe for users of all ages.
