The short version
Habit Tracker: Commitments does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your phone.
What the app stores
The app keeps the following information in its own private storage on your device only:
- the commitments you create (name, weekdays, time window)
- which days you marked as done
- your streak and level, which are calculated from the above
- your appearance settings (colour theme, widget size, time format, beeps on/off)
None of this ever leaves the device. There is no account, no sign-in, no cloud sync and no analytics. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
Permissions
- Notifications – to show a quiet nudge when a commitment window opens or is missed.
- Alarms & reminders – to deliver those nudges at the right time, even if the phone is idle.
- Run at startup – to re-arm the next nudge after a reboot.
- Vibration – a short buzz with each nudge.
The app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, files or the internet.
Third parties
The app contains no advertising, no tracking libraries and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and, as it collects no data, no data about children is collected.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
